December 2nd 2025 – Today, erupting star Freya Skye released her new single, “silent treatment” globally. The single solidifies Freya as a bona fide songwriter and emotionally honest storyteller.
Reflecting on the single, Freya shared that “’silent treatment’ is about someone very close to you and then them disappearing. I think a lot of us have gone through this, and I wrote the song during a time in my life when I was going through that with someone. I came into the studio on a day I was feeling particularly upset about it, but I’m super proud of the result. It’s a song that I love, and I hope everyone else does too.”
The release of “silent treatment” comes on the heels of Freya’s unprecedented surge of fan support, selling out her first four headline acoustic shows in mere seconds. The shows will take place in New York (December 11th at Gramercy Theatre), Los Angeles (December 17th at El Rey Theatre) and London (January 8th & 9th at Hoxton Hall). Her meteoric rise quickly followed her performance in Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires (July 2025) and her captivating performances on the Descendants / Zombies: Worlds Collide Arena Tour, which was also this Summer.

Freya Skye released her new single and video for “Who I Thought I Knew” today.
The “Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires” star co-wrote her new song with Davin Kingston, Ella Boh and Violet Skies. Directed by Boni Mata, the video clip perfectly encapsulates Freya’s powerful vocals (and, spoiler alert, piano-playing) in an idyllic garden setting.
Said Freya of “Who I Thought I Knew,” “The one word I would use to describe this song is ‘empowering.’ There’s an underlying super empowering journey throughout the song. At the beginning you’re feeling quite sad and let down. Then you come to the conclusion that it’s not them that you miss, but actually it’s the idea, or the version of that person you thought you knew. That’s where the lyric comes in, ‘You’re a stranger underneath the mask you wear.’ In the end you come to peace with it and feel empowered by it.

The “Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires” star co-wrote her new song with Swedish production duo Svante Halldin and Jakob Hazell and actress/songwriter Katelyn Tarver. Directed by Clio® Award-winner Boni Mata, the playful yet angsty video clip depicts Freya’s heartbreak over a relationship gone wrong she can’t let go of in an office setting with her gal pals filled with top-notch choreography.

Freya Skye is releasing her new single and video, “Someone To Love,” this Friday, September 13 on Hollywood Records. The single showcases Freya’s soaring vocals in this romantic and whimsical ballad penned by Ella Boh. The accompanying video was filmed in Freya’s hometown of London. Freya Skye is the first artist to simultaneously sign record and television deals with Disney. Earlier this year, she filmed a new Disney Original Movie, “Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires” which is coming soon to Disney+ and Disney Channel. At D23 it was announced that Freya Skye will be performing in the upcoming Descendants/Zombies: Worlds Collide Tour, an immersive concert experience and musical celebration of the Descendants and Zombies films franchises.

February 14, 2024 – (Burbank, CA ) – Everything is coming up Disney for singer and actress Freya Skye, as she simultaneously locks recording and television deals with Disney. Freya has begun recording music for Hollywood Records, a division of Disney Music Group (DMG), after recently landing a holding deal with Disney Branded Television. As revealed during the 2024 Television Critics Association winter press tour, Freya is set to star as supernatural character Nova in the upcoming movie “ZOMBIES 4” (working title). Freya’s DMG deal also includes Disney Music Publishing as a songwriter, officially launching her into the multi-hyphenate stratosphere as a singer, songwriter and actress.

A native of Buckinghamshire, England, Freya has been passionate about singing and acting since the tender age of five. Freya’s artistic journey has been featured in two BBC documentaries, providing inside glimpses of her Eurovision experience and her burgeoning pop career.
