From busking on the Santa Monica boardwalk to performing in stadiums, Andy Grammer has built his career around optimism, sincerity, and connection. Since breaking out with his 2011 hit “Keep Your Head Up,” Grammer has become known for his uplifting pop sound, earning four multi-platinum singles, eight gold or platinum certifications, billions of streams, and nearly 50 national TV appearances. A joyful, pop-driven celebration of choosing optimism even through hardship, the album features the singles “Best Hearts” and “Big Stupid Heart.” “Best Hearts” grew out of Grammer’s podcast, Showing Up With Andy Grammer, where fans share stories about people who have shown up for them and Grammer turns those stories into songs. Inspired by a mother’s story about her son supporting others while facing his own mental health struggles, “Best Hearts” reflects the album’s central message: hardship can deepen our strength, compassion, and connection to one another.
