Since emerging from San Diego’s surf and skate scene, almost monday have become one of alternative’s fastest-rising bands, turning their infectious songwriting, vibrant live shows, and unmistakable optimism into a global fanbase. Formed by longtime friends Dawson Daugherty, Cole Clisby, and Luke Fabry, the trio have steadily built momentum since breaking through with “broken people” in 2020.
That momentum reached new heights with their debut album DIVE, led by “can’t slow down,” which became the band’s first #1 on Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart and the third most-played song at Alternative Radio in 2025. The album fueled sold-out headline tours across North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia, while earning the band a 2026 iHeartRadio Music Award nomination for Best New Artist (Alternative).
Renowned for their electrifying performances, almost monday have appeared at major festivals including Lollapalooza, BottleRock, Outside Lands, and Life Is Beautiful, and have toured with Young the Giant, AJR, The Band CAMINO, and Beach Weather.
Their sophomore album, THANK GOD IT’S ALMOST MONDAY (September 9, 2026), marks the band’s boldest artistic statement to date. Written during a year of extraordinary personal highs and heartbreaking loss, the album expands their sound while preserving the joy, energy, and infectious melodies that have become their calling card. Led by the single “no more regrets” (currently a top 20 hit at Alternative Radio) it captures a band embracing greater emotional depth without losing sight of the optimism that first connected them with audiences.
